Teacher Aides 2020
This year we welcome Old Boys Michael Ioane and Chase Maniapoto to our staff as Teacher Aides.
Michael graduated from Palmy Boys’
in 2017 and throughout his time at school he was involved in the Pasifika
Fusion, 1st XV rugby (2016-17), OK Chorale (2016-17) and was a Prefect in his final year. Michael will be working to support a number of young men in their academic studies.
Chase graduated from Palmy Boys' in 2019 and throughout his time at school he was involved in Te Reo Māori, Te Piringa and kapa haka, and was also a member of the mighty 4th XV rugby team. Chase will be supporting a range of young men in junior classes, as well as our juniorTe Reo Māori programme, Mau Rakau and kapa haka.
We are excited to have Chase and Michael on staff and we have no doubt they will be great role models for our young men.
