Level 2 Geography students on the field trip studied the characteristics of the Turitea Stream at two different locations. Data was collected for use in completing their research assignment (Internal Assessment 2.5). Specific sites were further visited to enhance the learning of the Manawatu Landscape: Ashhurst domain forest, Pohangina anticline at Hiwinui, Manawatu river realignments at Fitzroy bend and Vautier cliffs.
