Tennis Exchange v Napier Boys' High School
Well done to the following young men who took part in the annual tennis exchange with Napier Boys' High School today at the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Club.
The teams made good use of the gaps between showers to complete the exchange early. PNBHS won all four singles matches. Jonty Giesen, Tom Cairns and Jack Burden won their two sets comfortably. Rhys Workman had a close second set, but ended winning 7-5. The doubles was 3-1 to PNBHS.
The Junior team of Travis Christison, Fletcher Lochhead, Matty Leary and Johnny Pratt all won their singles and doubles matches comfortably.
The fixture was played with good spirit and PNBHS ended up winning the fixture 11 matches to 1. This bodes well for the remainder of the season.
