Over the holidays the PNBHS Technology Wood Department had a 2500 x 1300 CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine installed from Makerspace NZ. CNC machines are fundamentally an automated machine controlled by computer software and are heavily used in a wide range of industries. With this machine, our students will gain valuable technological skills in drawing, programming and tool pathing within their woodworking courses.
