The final match for the PNBHS 1st XI Hockey squad at the St Paul’s ANZAC Tournament was against Auckland Grammar this morning.
PNBHS dominated from the outset pressing the Auckland Grammar defence keeping them pinned in their own half. The PNBHS forwards combined well to set up Zach Carline for the first goal of the match. Ben Havord followed this scoring from a penalty corner giving the 1st XI a 2 - 0 lead at half time.
The second half was even with both sides having their chances. No further goals were scored giving PNBHS 1st XI a 2 - 0 win.
An extremely positive week with 4 wins and a loss.
