2020 Dux Artium, and leader of the 2021 Stage Band, Joe Inman was presented with a range of trophies and certificates at assembly this morning to recognise the achievements of the PNBHS Stage Band and Senior Concert band and his recent individual achievements.

At the Hawke's Bay Festival of Bands both the Stage Band and Concert Band received Gold awards, with the Stage Band being adjudged the Best Overall Band. At the Manawatu Jazz Festival the Stage Band were awarded the Best Manawatu High School Band and the Overall Best Big Band.

Joe competed in the Central Districts Brass Band Solo competition where he placed 1st in the Under 19 - Air Varie and 1st in the Under 19 Slow Melody competitions. At the Hawkes Bay Festival of Bands he received a Gold award and placed 1st in the solo competition with his slow medley performance. At the Manawatu Jazz Festival he earned a Judges Commendation for his solo performance.

After receiving these awards Joe performed his slow medley, 'Believe Me of All Those Endearing Young Charms'.
