In Term One the Secondary Schools Canoe Polo National Competition was held in Hawkes Bay. After the competition, the results were reported in assembly, but unfortunately, the medals for the teams only arrived last week.
Three teams represented PNBHS at this competition. Senior A in division one, Senior B in division two, and Junior A in the junior open division.
The final results were:
Junior A - 4th
Senior B - 3rd in Division two, winning their 3-4th playoff 8-3 against Napier Boys’ High School.

Senior A finished 2nd in Division one, losing in the final to last year’s champions; St Peters College.
