Written by Dave Armstrong and Oscar Kightley, This play has become a modern Kiwi classic. It combines great humour with tragedy to explore the meeting of two cultures - Samoan and Palangi (European New Zealand). On the surface, stereotypes abound but what do we find when we bother to look below the surface? As our country grapples with cross-cultural issues and finally offers an apology for the notorious Dawn Raids, Niu Sila has great relevance to our social framework in 2021.
