Language of the Day - French
Bonjour.
International Languages Week is being celebrated at PNBHS this week and
the Language of the Day today is French.
At assembly this morning Kairangi Te Huke read the Lord’s
Prayer in French and Rohan Kanagasundaram made a presentation about languages –
59 different languages are spoken within our school community and approximately
half of our young men either speak a second language themselves or come from a
home where another language is spoken.
Scott Sun and Kieran Gill spoke about French
culture, in particular cheese, and the answers from today’s quiz were included
in their presentation
