Year 11 students Junhee Cho, Scott Sun and Camden Woodroofe recently competed in the PACANZ (Performing Arts Competitions Association of New Zealand) National Young Performer Awards. These competitions are for under 21 year olds and attract the top performers across New Zealand, consequently the standard of competition was very high. Junhee and Scott competed in the Piano competition, while Camden competed in the solo tap and troupe dance competitions, placing in the top 12 out of 68 competitors in the solo tap competition and in the top 18 out of 85 groups in the troupe competition. This was a great opportunity to compete at a very high level and all three are looking forward to future competition opportunities.
