Well done to the young men who competed in the recent Mini Stocks in Paradise event in Rotorua, the unofficial mini stocks national championships and the biggest meeting of the year with 150 competitors.
Congratulations to Harrison Cheetham who placed third overall in the senior 14 – 16 years class. Harrison made the top 26 competitors to qualify for the Tier 1 final and then competed in three races. After three races he was tied for third so had a fourth race, four laps against the driver he was tied with, which Harrison won to lock in third place.
Ashton Dorne placed third in the Tier 2 senior category and Jayden Clark was 13th. Logan Mulcahy and Fletcher Hoskins competed in the Tier 3 final, with Fletcher finishing in third place, while Kobe Dorn placed fifth in the Tier 1 junior competition.
