Tomorrow, June 6, marks 80 years since the D Day landings on the beaches of Normandy, France, a significant turning point in World War Two. At assembly this morning the Rector, Mr. Bovey, spoke about the significance of the D Day landings and the involvement of one of our Old Boys, Mr. Jim Kelly, who served on the HMS Oceanway, a landing ship that ferried soldiers and military equipment across the English Channel.
