On Friday all French students were invited to attend the annual French Film and Food Day in the Speirs Centre. Our senior French students (Years 11, 12, &13) watched "La Vie en Rose" - the biographical film about the French singer Eidth Piaf. Our juniors (Years 9 & 10) watched the film "Jo's Boys" - a film about a rugby-crazed father encouraging his book-reading and maths-genius son, to participate in a rugby tournament.
As well as enjoying cinema quality viewing in our auditorium, the students also had the opportunity to sample some French foods. On the menu were les escargots à l'ail (garlic snails), la baguette et le pain au chocolat. Bon appétit!
