This weekend a Palmerston North Boys’ High School group will be participating in the annual Relay for Life. At assembly this morning the Prefect in charge of this event, Richard Bell, encouraged our young men to support the team’s fundraising efforts. The young men in the team have held a number of fundraising sausage sizzles as well as working hard to gain individual sponsorship and donations. On Friday morning there will be a collection made as young men enter the hall for assembly. Cancer is a disease that affects so many in our school, and wider school and local communities, and we are proud to be able to support this very worthwhile cause. All donations made on Friday will be gratefully received and added to our school donation to Relay for Life.
