The school Cross Country team were recently involved in the annual Super 8 fixture, this year held in Tauranga.
The event always showcases some of the best cross country talent in the North Island and this year was no exception.
The top three finishers from each school count towards the group three-man team competition. All boys finished in the top half of the field, with exceptional efforts by Liam Wall and Andre Le Pine-Day.
For the second year, we finished agonizingly close, but second behind New Plymouth Boys' High School.
With only two of the group leaving at the end of this year, the team is excited at the prospect of hosting the event next year and going one better.
