Last weekend several PNBHS students competed at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships held in Auckland.  The team was without our top competitor, Jakob Abernethy, who is racing in Europe.

The highlight saw the Junior Boys Relay team of Tom Transom, Jimmy Linklater and Hugo Sherman finishing in third place.

Other results of note from the three-day event included Hugo Skerman gained second place in the individual Long Course  and 11^th in the Individual Sprint event.

Good luck to Brodie Bennett and the New Zealand Squash team, who are competing in the Junior World Championships in Egypt.

Congratulations to Grayson Cattle, who has been selected in the New Zealand Football Men’s U16 team to compete in the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship 2025, the qualifying tournament for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026, taking place in Solomon Islands in August.
